Art for a good friend of mine. She kept asking me about Percy and Annabeth, so I've finally decided to draw them. I'm pretty big fan of 'Percy Jackson & the Olympians" 
Of course I messed up the anatomy, perspective and lightening, but I hope she'll like it anyway.

Although i'm not blown away by the characters here, my eyes are on that amazing tree in the background that is absolutely perfect. The colours and subtle magical effects make this one of the best magical trees i've ever seen. I also love the vines and glowing gold leaves on the columns. If this was a picture with just that tree I would place this high in my favourites.
